Culture Day

Today was Culture Day at St Francis Xavier Catholic school. As part of our celebration of "My Story, My Culture", we got to dress up for the day, in costumes from different cultures from around the world. There were some amazing outfits. FYI - For your information...

HOMEWORK - Readers come home every night, Monday to Thursday. Please remember to write the book into your child's reading log after they have read it, and make a comment. An outline on how to fill in your child's Reading Log is in the front of the book.

Literacy and numeracy activities to support learning in the classroom will be sent home every now and then.

LIBRARY - We go to the library on Monday to change our books. Please make sure that books are back at school by the end of each week.

NEWSLETTERS - our school newsletter comes home fortnightly. If your child is the eldest/only at school, please keep an eye out for this in his/her book bag. It will keep you up to date with all that is happening at school. A class newsletter/pamphlet will come home on a regular basis.
